If brands want to create competitive spray products, the choice of factories will become a key link. The following will be conducted from three aspects: factory capability assessment, cooperation conditions, and processes, for brand reference.

1、 How to conduct on-site inspections of factory capabilities

When inspecting a factory, it is not enough to just look at materials. It is recommended to arrange a team to conduct on-site visits and pay attention to the following details:

Production qualification and hardware level: first, verify whether the factory holds the cosmetics production license, and the scope of the license covers the category of spray and water agent in the "general liquid unit". Simultaneously check the operation records of the workshop air purification system, the model and maintenance logs of the pure water preparation equipment. The water replenishing spray takes water as the basic raw material, and the conductivity of purified water and the microbial control ability are directly related to the product stability.

Adaptability of filling line and packaging materials: the sense of use of spray products depends largely on the coordination of packaging materials and materials. During the inspection, the factory can be requested to demonstrate the atomization effect of the same batch of materials under different pump head and bottle body pressures, observe the atomization angle, uniformity, and rebound speed after continuous pressing. Observe whether the mixing, homogenization, and sterilization equipment in the sampling laboratory is independent of the production workshop to avoid the risk of cross contamination.

2、 General framework for cooperation conditions

After both parties confirm their intention, it is usually necessary to clarify the following cooperation conditions:

Minimum order quantity: most factories set the minimum order quantity of each filling line for water replenishing spray, such as 30000 pieces/batch. Brands should consult with factories on whether there is a tiered minimum order plan based on their own sales forecasts.

Cost composition: The cost generally includes material processing fees, packaging material procurement fees, filling fees, and quality inspection fees. Requirement docking: The brand provides product concepts, target skin feel, fragrance preferences, and initial packaging material selection plans, and the factory provides feasibility assessments and preliminary quotations.

Proofing and testing: the factory makes 2 – 3 groups of samples with different formula systems, and the brand conducts internal skin feeling test and machine spray test to determine the final formula.

Trial production and sample sealing.

Large scale production and inspection: The factory schedules production, and during the production period, the brand can arrange personnel to conduct on-site spot checks, focusing on deviations in filling net content, nozzle opening times, and sealing. After passing the inspection, arrange logistics and settle the final payment.

Finally, it should be reminded that when choosing a factory, brands should consider their own positioning and budget, and prioritize cooperation with factories with practical experience in similar products. Before signing the contract, it is recommended to entrust a third-party organization to conduct a social responsibility audit of the factory to ensure compliance with production environment and employee rights.
